OptimizedIT Earns Two Cincinnati Business Courier Rankings
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
OptimizedIT Earns Two Spots on the Cincinnati Business Courier’s 2026 Lists
Managed IT provider ranks #24 among the region’s biggest IT consulting firms and #59 among Cincinnati’s largest family-owned businesses as it heads into its 40th anniversary year
CINCINNATI, OH, October 15, 2026 – OptimizedIT, the managed IT services and technology consulting division of Modern Office Methods (MOM), has been named a List Maker by the Cincinnati Business Courier. The company earned two rankings in the Courier’s 2026 research lists, which are compiled each year in the publication’s Book of Lists:
- #24 – Biggest IT Consulting Firms in the Cincinnati Area, ranked by local sales
- #59 – Cincinnati’s Largest Family-Owned Businesses
The rankings place OptimizedIT among the most established technology partners serving businesses across Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and southeast Indiana. The recognition sets the stage for a milestone year: in 2027, OptimizedIT will celebrate 40 years in business.
Founded in 1987, OptimizedIT has spent four decades helping local organizations keep pace with every major shift in business technology, from the first office networks to the cloud, remote work and today’s cybersecurity threats. The company will celebrate its 40th anniversary throughout 2027, sharing the milestone with parent company Modern Office Methods, which marks its 70th anniversary the same year.
“Being named to both of these lists says a lot about where OptimizedIT is today,” said Kevin McCarthy, CEO. “Local businesses are trusting us with more of their technology every year, from day-to-day support to cybersecurity and long-term planning. As we head into our 40th year, we are proud to be a Cincinnati company that has grown by staying close to our clients and our community.”
“Our clients count on us to keep their systems running, their data protected and their teams productive,” said Ken Staubitz, COO. “Recognition like this reflects the work our engineers and support team do every day, and it is a strong way to head into our 40th anniversary year.”
OptimizedIT helps organizations run secure, reliable and productive technology environments. Its services include fully managed IT and help desk support, network and infrastructure management, cloud and Microsoft 365 services, backup and disaster recovery, and strategic technology consulting. Through its sister company Obviam, clients also have access to dedicated cybersecurity services, including managed detection and response, security awareness training, and risk and compliance management.
The family-owned ranking reflects OptimizedIT’s place within the Modern Office Methods family of companies, which has been family-owned and operated in Cincinnati since 1957. That ownership model allows the company to make long-term investments in its people, its service and the communities it serves.
